Abstract
Cardiometabolic disease (CMD) is a major complicating factor in the care of pregnancy and anesthetic management in the high-risk obstetric patient. It also increases the risk of maternal and neonatal morbidity particularly in the cases of operative deliveries with anesthetic interference.
