Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Type 2 Diabetes is an increasing health problem, becoming one of the most serious chronic diseases worldwide, known to be associated with several comorbidities that lead to an increase in disability and mortality. This has prompted international guidelines that recommend a wide range of interventions.

This Special Issue of the Journal of Population Therapeutics is aiming to detail the most recent advances in therapies for Type 2 Diabetes as well as provide an up-to-date overview of strategies that can prevent the onset. Therefore, we encourage investigators from different scientific backgrounds to submit to this special issue entitled "Recent Trends and Emerging Approaches in the Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes: Lifestyle modification, Pharmacotherapy and Bariatric Surgery” that will accept manuscripts in the form of Original Research, Systematic Review, Review, Mini-Review, and Clinical Trial articles providing a platform for the presentation of recent advances in our knowledge on Type 2 Diabetes management.

Manuscript Submission Information:

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.jptcp.com by registering and logging in to journals website. Once you are registered, go to the submission form. Please write "Special Issue" before the title. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
