Dear Colleagues,

The entire globe is facing a dangerous pandemic due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The medical and scientific community is trying to figure out and adopt effective strategies that can lead to (i) preventing virus expansion; (ii) identifying medications for the management of critical care and reducing rates of mortality; and (iii) finally discovering the highly anticipated vaccine.

This Special Issue of the Journal of Population Therapeutics is aiming to detail the most recent advances in the therapies for COVID-19 disease as well as provide an up-to-date overview of strategies that can improve the prevention. Therefore, we encourage investigators from different scientific backgrounds to submit to this special issue entitled "The Era of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic: Strategies for Optimizing its Management” that will accept manuscripts in the form of Original Research, Systematic Review, Review, Mini-Review, and Clinical Trial as well as Letter to Editor, and commentary articles providing a platform for the presentation of recent advances in our knowledge on COVID-19.

 

Manuscript Submission Information:

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.jptcp.com by registering and logging in to journals website. Once you are registered, go to the submission form. Please write "Special Issue" before the title. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English.
