Abstract

Background:  There is a lack of reliable evidence to support using of Allium sativum oil as a medicament in vital pulpotomy in primary molars as well as comparing it with Ferric sulphate, therefor the current study aimed to provide a reliable basis for treatment decision. Patients and methods: This clinical control trial using a split-mouth technique on 30 primary molars indicated for pulpotomy, 13 children enrolled from the Outpatient Clinic of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Suez Canal University. Sampling method was chosen as each child had both interventions and there wasn’t a control group, thus helping to show the
efficacy of both treatments
