Abstract

BACKGROUND:  When meconium is present in the amniotic fluid, it gives the fluid a greenish hue. This can happen for various reasons, such as fetal stress, post-term pregnancy, or other factors. Healthcare providers need to be aware of meconium staining during labor and delivery. OBJECTIVE: To determine cardiotocography (CTG) tracings and perinatal outcomes in women with and without meconium-stained labour.
