Abstract
Healthcare assistants (HCAs) are integral members of the healthcare workforce, contributing significantly to the delivery of quality care and the promotion of public health. In various healthcare settings, including dental clinics, elderly care facilities, and infection control measures, HCAs play diverse roles in supporting healthcare professionals and mitigating health risks. However, a comprehensive understanding of the specific responsibilities, challenges, and contributions of HCAs within these contexts is essential for optimizing healthcare delivery and safeguarding public health.
