Abstract
Cataract surgery, particularly phacoemulsification, is one of the most common ophthalmic procedures performed globally. Each year, millions of patients benefit from this procedure, which offers improved visual acuity (VA) and overall quality of life [1]. However, despite its widespread success, one postoperative complication remains a concern: corneal astigmatism. This condition can significantly impact visual outcomes by distorting the corneal curvature and leading to blurry vision, making it a critical factor to manage in cataract surgeries [2].
